About AfricanDisabilities | Supporting Women with Disabilities in Africa
AfricanDisabilities is a women-centered humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting women with disabilities in Africa through dignity-based aid, women’s health support, mobility access, and economic empowerment.
Across many African communities, women living with disabilities face compounded challenges, including limited healthcare access, social exclusion, and economic barriers. These challenges are not caused by disability itself, but by lack of access, resources, and opportunity. AfricanDisabilities exists to help close that gap.
Founded by a woman with lived experience, AfricanDisabilities is rooted in empathy, cultural respect, and community-driven solutions. Our work centers women as capable, resilient individuals deserving of independence, visibility, and opportunity.

AfricanDisabilities is a women-centered humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting women with disabilities across Africa through dignity-based aid, health support, mobility access, and economic empowerment.

We envision a future where women with disabilities in Africa live with independence, visibility, and opportunity — not isolation.
